How do I add a widget to my home screen?

Long-press an empty area on your home screen, tap the + in the top-left, search for Countdown, choose a size (small, medium, or large), and tap Add Widget. After adding, tap the widget once to choose which countdown to display.

How do I add a widget to my lock screen?

Long-press your lock screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen, tap a widget area, and pick Countdown from the list. Three styles are available: inline (above the clock), circular, and rectangular.

Why isn't my widget updating?

iOS controls how often widgets refresh in the background. The app pushes a fresh update to all widgets each time you open it. The live timer text inside the widget ticks every second on its own.

How do I create a countdown?

Tap the + button on the Countdowns tab. Enter a title, pick a category, set the start and end dates, and choose any milestone alerts. Tap Save.

How do I get notifications?

Go to Settings → Notifications → Enable notifications inside the app and grant permission. Each countdown lets you choose milestone alerts (25%, 50%, 75%, 90%) and a final alert when it ends.

How do I delete or archive a countdown?

Long-press a countdown on the home screen and choose Delete or Archive, or open the countdown and use the ••• menu in the top-right.

Where is my data stored?
